PROCESS OF APPLYING LAOS VISA FOR JORDAN NATIONALS

INTRODUCTION 

The visa procedure for Jordanians to enter Laos is fairly straightforward. They can obtain their visas straight from the Jordanian embassy in Amman. Before applying for a Laos visa, all you need is a passport with the current period of at least six months and one current picture of oneself obtained within the past month.

REQUIREMENTS FOR LAOS VISA 

  • Fill out the online application form
  • Please provide the following documents:
  • A recent photograph of oneself with a white backdrop and a 46 cm size
  • The front page of your passport
  • The biographical page of the passport

However, it mostly takes 3 business days for the visa application for Laos to be processed and verified. If there is an issue with the submission, it may take more than usual.

The eVisa Approval Letter is available for download. Visitors will obtain it via email. You need 3 months after receiving the permission letter to use it.

When you arrive in Laos, proceed to the appropriate immigration location for eVisas. Display your passport as well as the eVisa approval. The immigration authorities will then assess them and grant you admission.

COVID NORMS FOR JORDAN NATIONALS TRAVELLING TO LAOS 

While the Jordan nationals are travelling to Laos, visitors to Lao are permitted to ask for the 'Test to Release'  this new covid system, helps the visitor to get the result and to be checked on the  5 days of their tour to Laos and be eased from the self-quarantine period if the reports are found negative. Similarly, the positive reports travellers are reportedly asked to get self-quarantine in their requested residence for 10 consecutive days, reportedly. . Non vaccinated passengers must self-quarantine for 10 days upon arrival at their own house or lodging, or for the whole trip if spending fewer than 10 days. Evidence of negative PCR or LFD tests conducted within the preceding 45 days must be presented at the time of exit Unvaccinated passengers must pay a 'COVID Testing Bundle' beforehand to travel for 'Day 2 including Day 8 testing.' These tests must be performed twice throughout the self-quarantine period, before or on day 2 and day 8.

CONCLUSION 

If you are travelling to Jordan and plan to stay longer than one week, you will need to apply for a visa. Tourist visas for Laos  are  obtained once the visitor to Laos arrives at the Laos airport.
