Tourist Visa
If you are visiting the country to see its beautiful sites or just to meet your family, you need a tourist visa. You cannot extend a tourist visa for Peru and only single entry visa is granted in this case.
Business Visa
People going to Peru for business purposes are required to have a business visa by the Peruvian government. Getting a business visa is not that difficult as the Peruvian embassy does not have a lot of hassles involved.
Documents required for Peru visa
Peru Visa Document Requirements.
- Passport with a minimum validity of six months after the expected date of arrival to Peru.
- Photocopy of the front and back sides of passport.
- Two (DGC 005) forms duly typed or handwritten, in block letters and using black ink.
- Three recent colored, passport-size photographs (4.3 X 3.5 cm) with white background. The face size should cover between 70% - 80% of the photograph.
- A cover letter duly signed by the applicant.
- If employed, the applicant must present a no-objection certificate furnished by the employer, indicating the date they joined the organization, as well as the purpose and the time of their stay in Peru.
- Round-trip ticket reservation to Peru.
- Day by day detailed itinerary while in Peru.
- Hotel reservation(s) in Peru.
- Proof of financial solvency, e.g. bank statements, fixed deposits. These are required even if the trip is sponsored.
- Personal Income Tax Return (ITR) of Form 16 (1 year), if applicable.
Business Visa Document Requirements
- An apostilled invitation letter in English or Spanish from the business associate in Peru to be directly mailed.
- A formal letter from the company in which the person is employed, mentioning the company profile and purpose of the travel of the applicant.
- A letter from the recognized local chambers of commerce (FIEO, FICCI, APEDA, ASSOCHAM, Ph.D., etc) confirming the company's registration details.
- Proof of registration of the company.
- Personal bank statement of the applicant (latest 3 months).
- Salary slips, for the latest six months.

How to apply for Peru visa in UAE?
To apply for a Peru visa in the UAE, the applicant must submit a copy of his or her passport. A visa application form is filled out completely with all the necessary information about the applicant, such as passport number, full name, nationality, gender, and date of birth.
Two recent passport-size photos that meet all requirements according to regulations set by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MoFAIC) of Peru. The photos should not have been taken more than six months before applying for a visa and must be attached with a photo paper or sticker on one side only so that other details on the other side do not appear on them when attached to the application form.
